Problem Statement
Khazaen Dry Port Company LLC (KDP) was looking for a system integrator to implement a comprehensive Enterprise Dry Port Management Application with relevant experience and strong presence in the Sultanate of Oman.
The system would have to primarily consist of:

The key product vendors for this solution were Kale Logistics, SAP Business One and ManageEngine Service Desk Plus. The implementation team comprised of the KICT team, Kale Logistics and Sapours, India Ltd.
TOS Application (CAPELLA) Container Management System had been designed to address the myriad challenges and fulfil complete needs of CFS/ICD operators. It is adept to drive complete automation and visibility in container management functions. The solution addressed all the major issues faced by the KDP terminal operations, container inventory & yard management, b, back to town processes, maintenance & repairs. The solution also possesses a comprehensive reporting tool. It addresses the typical challenges of yard operations like terminal, Import – Export, domestic, and container inventory, among others. With a comprehensive reporting tool, CAPELLA ensured real-time visibility and control of CFS/ICD functions.
Benefit
The solution improved the information security by providing visibility and assuring responsible governance. It was also able to comply with the various mandates while reducing the operational cost associated with the management of privileged accounts. And finally, it was able to fully integrate with existing systems.
Key Success Factor
The customer was looking for all the services to be integrated in one and provided to them. The key success factor of this project was the integration we provided to the company in their budget as it was a start-up.
